gtx 780 1440p enough?

After some suggestions and reading, I have decided to leave gaming on 1080p and join the 1440p crowd. Is a single GTX 780 enough to run max? I will mostly be playing Skyrim modded and mmo's.

Also, a single monitor setup.

Yes, it should be enough, Skyrim isn't very demanding even with tons of texture and graphical improvement mods.

Grab ENB realism for Skyrim, it looks great, but does not drop the frames down a lot like other ENB mods.
