Hi there,

I build my new PC a month ago and today while I was running WoW the screen start getting pixalated real bad. I turned the game off and did a restart and the pixalation is still there. My buddy suggest that it could be my GPU has gone bad. I have an Asus GTX770. Here's a screenshot:

As you can see there's little flickers of pixels, kind of like a beat up movie screen sort of noise.

I tried running Unigine Valley at X9, seems fine, but it crashes on X11. I tried Unigine Heaven about 10 sec and the whole thing just crashed/froze. I had to end task and then got a nvidia driver crash error. Now when I try to run valley again on X9, everything's just messed (purple colouring, bad artifacts etc).

I re-seated my GPU, unplug/replugged in the power cables, tried a different PCI E slot on the mobo, the problem is still there.

I tried connecting the GPU to monitor using displayport (was using HDMI before), didn't solve the problem.

I tried connecting my pc to a different monitor, didn't do anything, noise/pixals are still there.

I'm just just about 2 weeks over my 30day warranty at NCIX so this is very worrying. Because I have heard Asus RMA is very very slow and I can't really go months without a graphic card, any suggestions on further trouble shotting on whether it's my GPU or something else? Help is appreciated!

ps my PSU is Corsair HX750 gold...I don't think the GPU's dry on power but then again not sure..

I have the same problem. I reinstalled all drivers and different versions. I started building my new pc, and everything went fine until those colored stripes appeared. In bios looks eveything fine, windows 8.1x64 disables my gtx770 thow, so i believe this graphic window we see is the i7 integrated graphics, which appeares to be working well in 16bit and has a slow refresh rate for videos. I also believe this happened by flashing the video card with Power_IC_Firmware_Update and there is no going back for it for now. GTX770.exe also provided by Asus doesn-t work for me. It tells I dont have a valid card. All software are updated. Graphic card seems ok. The problem might be in the gtx770 firmware or in the bios definitions for it. no solution yet.
