On my computer i was using a VGA cord to connect my monitor and my MSI 280X. I had a DVI to VGA adapter so I could plug it in to my video card. I was getting horizontal lines all over my screen when playing games, and people said it was because of my adapter. So i went out and bought a DVI cable.
When I plugged it in, I have red lines running all over the screen, but when I have it plugged in to the onboard DVI slot, it works fine. Does this mean there is a problem with my graphics card?
System Specs are:
MSI 280X with OC
i5 4570
8gb ram
Gigabyte H87 D3H
Corsair 750w
