Hi , I Hvae an FX 6300 , Asus M5 A7L8M motherboard , 4 GB RAM ..
I want to install a Gainwar GTX 650TI 1 GB DDR5 to my system..
But I only have a 250W PSU...
DO i need to upgrade my PSU too? What will happen If I connect GTX 650 Ti to my current PSU ?
Pls reply.. Thanks

Solution
Dont take any risk .
Its better you upgrade your psu to 350watts or 430 watts.
In theory it would work but its better not to take any risk.
Buy something from seasonic or corsair except their cx series.

You will definitely need a larger power supply. A GTX 650Ti requires a minimum of 400W or 450W I believe and if you add it to your system now, it will crash whenever you're playing games or doing computer intensive work. Bottom line, get a better power supply.

You most definitely need to upgrade your PSU, something around 450-500W will be more than enough for you. Go for Corsair or Seasonic and you can be rest assured that all your components are completely safe.
