so yesterday i decided to try to switch from Linux Mint back to windows 7. (i had recently got the windows failed to start error on windows 7 so i had Linux Mint as a temporary solution)
And when i got into the windows installer and was about to select a hard drive to install windows on, one of my hard drives was missing and my ssd was split into 3 different hard drives (one big one and two insanely small ones)
When i saw that i just thought something like: "ahh this will probaly fix itself once i get windows running" and i was soo wrong about that. I looked into the bios and my 3rd hard drive (which is the hard drive missing) doesnt even show up in the BIOS under the SATA connection or whatever its called. I tried opening up my pc to see if my hard drive was poperly connected to my motherboard, and it was, i even tried to switch the sata port on the hard drive. So now im sitting here with a splitted hard drive and another one gone and dont know what to do. I just got a windows 8.1 cd in the mail a few minutes ago that im gonna try when i get home from shcool, but if that doesnt work i have no idea, I would be glad if anyone had any suggestions for something i could do
