Here is the exact situation. Before this problem occured, there has been something error with the fan. It got really loud every once in a while, not often but happened everytime i turn on the laptop and during the time i was using it, like once or twice.
A few months back, ive already replaced the thermal paste on cpu, but i kept the thermal tapes on 2 of chips, gpu and 1 other chip. Ive never exp. this problem since 4 - 6 months ago.
During that time, ive also been using the cooling pad and external fan to keep the laptop and the charger cool.
And finally, 3 days ago, my sister asked me to hibernate the laptop becoz our house electricity needed to be turned off. After that, everything was still fine. My laptop turned on just fine. As well as the day after that, i was using it normally for 5 hours in evening with cold raining weather (in my country, there has been some radical weather changes in the past few years, global warming definitely).
But the day after that, at 9am in the morning, when the weather was cold and my laptop was also cold coz i kept it outside on the table without cover, i turned on the laptop and the problem finally occured.
At first, the fan sounded really loud, not the same as usual, and then, the screen went blank, and the num/caps lock blinking once every 3 seconds.
I already tried that "holding power button" trick but only 20 seconds. Didnt work. Was my method wrong?
