Hi! Guys, i recently bought a new processor and a motherboard to upgrade my pc but will my Cooler Master Thunder 600 Watt PSU going to be enough? I know, i should have never bought that PSU without 80 plus certification since i was noob at hardware at that time and i regret buying it :( . Here's my full specs.

Processor - Intel Core i7 4770K
Motherboard - Asus Maximus VI Hero
RAM - 8GB (4 x 2) 2133Mhz G.Skill RipjawsX
Video Card - Asus GTX 660 Ti DC2T
PSU - Cooler Master Thunder 600 Watt
Disc Drive - 24x Asus DVD Writer
HDD - 1TB Western Digital Caviar Green
500GB Western Digital Caviar Blue
500GB Seagate
FANS - 2 x 80mm case fans on the back
1 x side fan (don't know the size, since i took it out from a damaged psu. Its big though :D )

If that psu won't be enough for my new upgrade can you suggest a good psu? I really won't be able to afford another PSU though :(  since i bought the processor and motherboard. If the psu's enough for my new upgrade then that'd be great. Any suggestion are welcome :)

Yes it's enough, just a quick question. Why are you buying such an expensive motherboard. Do you plan to do extreme overclocking? If not, i'd suggest you save some money on the motherboard and buy a better GPU.

Yes, I'll be overclocking a lil bit, and i'll be doing SLI, Is the GTX 660 Ti worth it? since i'm not upgrading a few years :??:

if your going to be doing SLI I would go with a bigger power supply(750w) just in case and since the 660ti and the 760 are close in price i'd go with the 760 in SLI if your wanting it to last longer

Well,I won't be goin for SLI, just not right now but I'll be doing it someday by the end of the year. That's why i bought that motherboard

With the system you have specified the current power supply is fine.
With two GTX 660 Ti cards in SLI it is not.
The +12V rating is OK, but not from a cheap power supply like this and it only has two PCI-E power connectors.

Rather than planning for SLI, you would be better to get a cheaper motherboard, CPU like the Core i5 4670 and spend the extra money on a better graphics card like the GTX 770 or R9 280X.

$645 is very expensive. Is the AMD R9 280X any cheaper? This card has very similar performance to the GTX 770.

Maybe last generation cards mare more affordable where you are.
The GTX 670 is a good step up from the GTX 660 Ti:
http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/geforce-gtx-660-ti-...

You will get around 20% better performance from the GTX 670 over the GTX 660 Ti.
A core i7 is unlikely to make much difference in games over a core i5.

An Asus R9 280X costs $468 while the XFX costs $415

Having just upgraded from a 650ti on my backup i'll tell you that a 660ti will be fine for what you want. A 600w psu will safely run it and it is cheaper then the other cards. Even the 650ti ran everything on the market. just not everything on the top settings

At those prices, the R9 280X is much better value than the GTX 770.
As the other poster above points out, a GTX 660 Ti will run all games but not at the highest settings.
However, Core i5 4670 + R9 280X will give you higher detail settings at the same frame rate (or higher frame rates at the same detail settings) than a Core i7 4770K + GTX 660 Ti

yep, you're right. i can play call of duty ghosts single player on high settings but the multiplayer lags and shutters a lot even on low settings. which i think is my processor bottlenecking the card? I'm currently using a core i3 2120.

Yeah, if your running a i3 then I would say it could be your cpu for the multiplayer. I know I had some problems running some multiplayer games till I upgraded from my AMD A6 to my i7-4770k. but try and go with a i5

Thanks! I'll stick with my GTX 660 Ti for now :)  I'll upgrade to a GTX 770 or better card in the near future. I tend to like Nvidia video cards more since they support physx which AMD doesn't. I'll think about getting an AMD card after they release AMD Mantle :D

The cpu usage never go above 65 or 70 while playing ghosts multiplayer. Its a cheap cpu which i bought from a friend.
