CPU: FX-8320
GPU: Asus HD 7770 Overlocked Edition
MOBO:GIGABYTE GA-990FXA-UD3
RAM: G.SKILL Sniper Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 1866 MHZ DDR3

which power supply for the money is the better choice. I referred to a posting on this site about tier levels and PSU on them.

Both OCZ PSU's are Tier 2

The XFX XTR 550w is a new model. Not a whole lot of reviews but is Made by Seasonic Correct? Also is not shown on the Tier list (probably due to the list not being updated)

I do not plan to Overclock but may add another hd7770 to crossfire later

Solution
Go XFX or the Antec made by Seasonic. I would get a minimum 650W so you can upgrade the GPU later to a better one if you choose. Going under 600W is marginal for a 770+ or the bigger R9 series GPUs.

Don't buy a crappy PSU and regret it later.

I didn't know ocz went bankrupt. They just bought out Toshiba didn't they?.

But I agree I think that those options are the best. I trust the internals more even though the oczs are are high tier psi. Thanks for the input

They went bankrupt and Toshiba bought their SSD division, the PSU division was not sold and will probably be liquidated making any type of warranty worthless.
