I've been having a problem to run crysis 3, its weird, cause i can run games like far cry 3, crysis 2 and battlefield 3 at maximum but when it comes to crysis 3 i cant even run on low, i cant figure it out if it a bug or something like that cause is the only game that i have problem to run. I know i dont have the setup to run on very high quality but i should be able to run it on low at least. My setup:

AMD Phenom II x4 955 BE
Radeon 6850
New HD 1tb
4 GBs of RAM
On a resolution of 1440x900

Solution
crysis 3 is a very demanding game it requires not only a powerful gpu but a very powerful cpu too.i suppose your 6850 has 1gb of vram. use a program like gpu z to determine the amount of vram the games consumes and adjust the setting to not exceed the 1gb limit. that wiil reduce the amout of lug considerably.also if you have sufficient cooling you could try a bit of cpu overclocking to achieve more playable framerates.and make sure you have no antialiasing enabled!

Actually I was running steam and downloading another game while playing, and I saw it, like, crysis 3 uses 1 gb of ram, but still like you said i should be able to run.

Thanks Chris, it helped, and you said about overclocking the cpu, if I was gonna overclock my cpu or gpu, how much would you recommend to not cause any big damage to the hardware?

First of all lets say your psu is up to the task. You can begin increasing gpu mhz and memory by 15mhz and try a stress test like fur mark for stability.you can keep increasing till it fails the test due to insafficient voltage.you stop there. Always monitor temps.never sould they pass 85c about the cpu you need a good cpu cooler and always monitors temps. As for the cpu safe temps shouldnt pass 75c

Man, I increased the memory, and overclocked the cpu from 3.2 to 3.6 GHz. It's incredible the diference, but I saw this guy who overclocked from 3.1 to 4.3, how much do you think is safe?

i must revise about the max temps though ,better not exceed 65 i meant .after at least half an hour on prime95.increasing voltage you get higher temps. it depends on your cooler how much will allow it .also the max voltage depends on your cpu . is it c2 or c3 stepping? dont exceed 1.4v. be sure what you do dont rush. to test temps dont use games only a program that fully stesses the cpu like prime95
