More about : water cooling cpu case fans stupid question

Yes. The heat from the cooler radiator needs to be vented. The video card, power supply, and motherboard also generate heat that needs to be vented from the case.

Your build is not a very good one.....perhaps work on it a bit..

I mean you could be more vague about that but yknow..anyways what part of it would consider not up to par?

Well nothing is not really "up to par", it is just an odd mix of parts you have chosen. For one thing, why would you get only 1 stick of memory when you are running a CPU with duel memory controllers, you would be losing about 40% of your memory performance, and why a "K" CPU with a B85 MB?

It's still a bit in progress. I did change the Ram to 2x4gb sticks. And i havent really looked that far into motherboards as of late, I will be looking into it very soon though. Thanks for your help and sorry for the smart remark.

No problem, what are you going to be using this rig for most of the time?

OK, just wondering what it was mainly for. With the price of the 290x these days perhaps look into a 780Ti, same price / faster card...

Thanks, I'll look into it. I have a lot of time before i'll have the money for all of this so i'll probably change the build a few more times. I'll probably also be getting a small SSD also. Since I haven't been looking at motherboards maybe you could suggest a few for me? I don't want to impose.

I mainly just suggest ASUS for MBs, they have few problems and last, Gigabyte and ASRock are also good. The PRO and Hero are high quality boards with the Z87 chipset, it will let you OC your CPU a bit, depending on the cooling you get.....
