Hi !

Pls check whether these are compatible, and also if there are cheaper alternatives. Cuz I do have a monitor and peripherals, but need to save up to buy a Logitech G19 and G700.

This PC build will be used for gaming, and streaming or recording at the same time. Most games that I will play: Minecraft, Warframe, Cod and the microsoft simulator series (Flight, Ship etc.)

I will be doing editing and rendering (Vegas- editing, Mirrilis Action or FRAPS or OBS for recording and OBS or Dxtory for streaming to Twitch)

So here are the parts:

CPU:
Intel Core i5-4570S 2.9GHz Quad-Core Processor

Link

CPU Cooler:
Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus

I'm planning on swapping out the stock fans with these:

Love these cool red Fans!!!

MOBO
Gigabyte G1.Sniper Z87 ATX LGA1150

Memory
Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600

Link

no ssd (budget)

Graphics:

ASUS GeForce® GTX 660

Link

Case

Cooler Master HAF X (Love this case) RED mmmm...

Power Supply:

Pls tell is this is enough or too much..

Link

Also is there a better option?

Needs:

Modular (its okay if its semi modular)
Enough wattage (around 750 w maybe??)

Operating System:

Windows 7 Home Premium

Custom Fan Controller:

Link

Optical Drive:

LG Electronics 24X SATA Super-Multi DVD Internal Rewriter with M-Disc Support (Black) GH24NS95B

Full Price list and parts list:

Can be found here

Pls Follow up, and if possible pls tell me if there are cheaper options with the same capabiltes.
And also is they are all compatible

Also I do require some guidance as this will be my first build

Thnx

BlazeMike

In a large case, there is no need for a "S" suffix low power cpu.
With the same budget, a i5-4670K will be faster.
Plus, the "K" can raise the multiplier if you have a decent cooler. It can bring an added 20%.

A GTX660 needs only a 430w psu, so you are ok there.
For gaming, the graphics card is all important. If you can go stronger, that would be more balanced.
A 600w psu can handle a card as good as a GTX780.
In a decent case, modular should not be an issue. You are going to use most of the leads anyway.

How much hard drive space do you need?
I will never again build without a ssd for at least the os.
120gb will hold the os and a handful of games. with 240gb, you may never need a hard drive at all.
I am using about 50% of my 240gb ssd with some number of games, and that includes FSX.
Consider deferring on the hard drive and use a ssd. It makes everything you do so much quicker. A one hour windows update is done in 15 minutes.

I don't like constantly adjusting fan speeds. I set them on low with a constant drone. Personally, I would pass on the fan controller.

I would pass on extra fans too. Your case is cool enough with stock fans. No need for the added noise.
If really necessary, you can change out fans later.

Wow, that must have taken a while to type... Anyway thnx 4 replying.

How about the 4670 not k (tight on budget....

I will try decreasing the hard drive to find a good ssd (any recommendations?)

The fans are for the cooler not the case (love red ) ur right that can be thought of later

Anything else?
