I am making this system.
Intel i3 3240
Intel DH77EB
Kingston 8 gb DDR3 1600
Seagate 1TB 72K HDD
Two DVD-RW.
Casing with 4 Fans.
Now last thing to get is a PSU

I am planing to buy G-550 SSR-550RM.
Pls tell,is it the good / best one,as for as quality and reliability is concerned.? I have to use my system at high room temp and I am NOT planning to or Can't replace my psu in next 4-5 years. Is G-550 a good bet for "long term" use and is it a durable unit. Right now I will connect it to above system, and want headroom for future upgrades.
Should I go ahead for G-550 or M12ii or any other brand like Corsair, cooler master,XFX,OCZ. Though I know many brand's OEM is Seasonic.

Pls give ur expert / Final opinion.
Regards

Good air flow, turn it off at least for a couple of hours every day, clean your computer every couple of months, dont let too much dust settle on the components by using compressed air, use a surge suppressor and etc...

The Seasonic G-550 SSR-550RM has a 5 Year Warranty so that should give you an indication of its expected life.
