Graphics card not working with mobo?

It's running and everything, fans working etc. but it won't output video. Using mobo it comes up and I've installed windows. Mobo is asus maximus vi hero g card is ATI Radeon pitcairn hd 7850 which I'm using until after market 290x comes out.

try different ports on the gpu and make sure you shut down completely before starting it up again with the monitor hooked into a different port on the gpu. Make sure the gpu fans are spinning and is working also.

Did all of the above with no luck. Can't find Gpu on bios.

It looks like signal is going but it shows black screen. When I leave tv on and power the pc up it changes from no signal to 1080p/50hz.

Edit: when I unplug power from Gpu integrated graphics work but when power is in it doesn't. Help anyone please?
