default was 1333, so I set it to the correct speeds (1866). I then Went into a certain profile (dohe) I think. And then got a bluescreen while browsing. Then I decided to go back and check the bios and undone the profile and back to default, change the freq back to 1866. Played dayz sine 30 mins no blue screen went by. Then I got on dayz and it would freeze and I would see a small lcd screen on the bottom right hand corner(vista) telling me it shuts down programs when a certain amount of usage is used, then I got a blue screen 2 times after freezing on dayz.

I could tell a big difference when having my ram freq changed to 1866(dayz loaded much faster)

I changed it but, but I would like to enjoy having my correct speeds.

I have a asus m5a97 le r2.0 mobo

8 core amd 8320

2x4 gb ram vengence 1866

gtx 660 ftw gpu

Just built this computer 2 days ago, and everything was running perfect. Even in dayz, no lag no nothing. Just perfect!

Now I'm sad..

Hope someone can please help me on this and if I end up with bluescreen back with default bios I'm going to cry. Thanks and I seriously appreciate your help a lot!

it should be no problem.the 1866 mhz ram will just run at the lower frequency.
