Hey guys I want to record my games but I can't stand losing fps in games . Which led me to change my fx6300 to a intel .
So i was wondering if there will be much difference recording with a 4670k and a 4770k.

It would be nice to save the extra 100$ but I would spend more for the hyperthreading if it helps .
I will be on teamspeak, iTunes and have some smaller programs such as my antivirus and razer's synapse.

Hyperthreading will be very useful for it, which you get with the i7. Remember to record to another HDD/SDD than the one you're running your games off too.

If you're interested in a cheaper alternative to the i7, have a look at the Xeon 1230v3. It's essentially the same as the i7, clocked a tiny bit lower, but is priced closer to the i5.

Are you going to be live streaming? Or just recording gameplay and editing? Either way an i7 will do you much better, but nvidia shadowplay is something to consider as well, something else to look at would be an i5 + caputre card (avermedia live gamer hd)
