Hi, i currently have a problem on what to upgrade. i have around £100-£150 and have a few ideas in mind but cannot come around to making a decision. I have also been having some FPS issues, whjen my GPU is at stock clocks it works worse than when i underclock it. in battlefield i rarely hit 60!
1. Get a corsair RM750
2. Get a Fx-8320
3. Get a OCZ ModXStream pro 700w plus kingston 120gb SSD
4. Get a kingston 120Gb SSD and noctua case fans
Take into consideration that i want my pc to be quiet, my current psu has recently became very load and annoying.
i have a phenom 965
R9 280x
asus M5A99X
Corsair H60
8gb ram
FPS 600w PSU 80+ certified
1tb hitatchi HDD

8 cores are rarely ever used and bf4 is a heavy game and has some serious issues.

6 cores make more sense to me and it uses less overall power

3d bench is what your looking at

draws less runs less hotter and will make less noise good jump from a 965
good occer to boot incase you want more grunt.

also make sure to flash bios to latest version to support it.

also what os are you using as fx works best with windows 8 windows 7 hinders it a bit

Solution

I suggest getting the case fan if you feel like you need the computer to be quiet; mine makes a sound and I don't really care hahaha
