I'm getting a "Disk Boot Failrue, Please insert disc." It's before any BIOS beeps, and I it will pop up before I can get to BIOS.

I don't have an documentation on the system, but I'll go see what I can get from it.

Do you have a CD in the CDROM?

Otherwise, there's an issue with the boot sector on your harddrive, or you have a second harddrive and you are booting off the wrong disk.

That message only appears after the BIOS POST as far as I know. The display time for entering BIOS is either set to 0 or Off/Disabled. You might need to reset your CMOS jumper to restore defaults. Then you will know the key to get into the BIOS because that will restore the messaging. Also, your HDD/Floppy/CD-DVD ROM or USB Flash drive isn't bootable.

I've seen many keys that can get you into a BIOS.... F2/F9/Del/F10 etc......
Many motherboards are different. If the key is not being displayed, is it possible you are trying to get into the BIOS with the wrong key? If you reset your CMOS, all this messaging(how to get into BIOS how to get into Boot Options) etc.. are displayed by default with a timer that will allow you to read them.

Depending on video lag, you might have to be pushing this key, whichever it may be, even before you have a video signal. I've encountered many machines like this also.
