Xbox 360 display on computer

Is there some sort of device out there that allows me to plug in an HDMI into my computer and view it through my computer? I have an Xbox 360 and a computer both connected to my tv. I am tired of having to get up and switching the input between the two HDMI cables, so can I buy a device or something that allows my to view my Xbox through the computer? I am fairly new to computers so explaining why or why this won't work would be great.

Computers generally do not have video inputs. That only works if you have some sort of HD Capture card/device installed. Your simplest solution would be to get an HDMI switch.

Now swapping between the computer and your XBox 360 is just a button press away. Some model even come with a remote control to make switching even easier.
