So I want to install vmare and then load Linux or OSX via vmware.
Linux overheats on my PC once I load it up normally.

So the actual software/vmware will be on the SSD.
So will the actual Linux install need to be on the SSD to load faster?
Also will I even notice much speed/load difference if vmware has to load Linux from the HDD instead of the SSD? Since I want to save some space.

I'm assuming it will help, sine the SSD could load the large install file faster than the hdd could.

I can game on my computer and everything else normally. On Windows 8 my laptop gets hot,but does not overheat.

When I installed linux and used it for a couple of minutes my laptop would overheat and shut off.
I tried numerous "fixes" and none cooled down the laptop. I have an AMD APU,so I've heard that APUs are not widely supported and so don't have great heat control outside of windows.
