How do I make a game use all my CPU GHZ

So basically when I play Minecraft I have been watching my CPU...

Sometimes it runs at 2.2 GHZ which is perfect and I have no lag. Other times it dips down back to 1 ghz and it lags allot.

Any idea how I make it use a minimum amout of CPU?

check the temp, it could be overheating.

Is that 42 while you r playing minecraft or just idling?

42 is the max always.

Basically when I go on Minecraft my CP goes to 1.49... which is like 8% and then randomly goes back up to 2.93 which is 33% I want it to use more CPU as I am getting fps lag.
