I was wanting to find out what aftermarket tower type air CPU cooler could fit in this case with the side fan still installed. The specs on the official Sentey website say it can handle up to a 162mm CPU cooler but I do not know if that is with or without the side fan installed. Im not a fan of Closed loop water cooling beacuse the best ones are expensive and also a custom loop is expensive. Any advice or help on this would be greatly appreciated.

The case ships with the side fan installed so it's unlikely that they would say that for a 162mm heat sink you need to remove the fan. Most tower heat sinks are 160mm tall.

I was just wondering because I have read several threads where people were stating that they had to remove the side fan in order to install a hyper 212 evo, which is what i am looking at buying. I want to use the side fan because I feel it is an essential part for good airflow in this case.

If you look closely at the side panel you'll notice that it's not flat and that the spot wher the fan is has a raised section so the fan sets in a bit. It looks like it was designed for the fan to stay put and not have to be removed unless you went past the 162mm space for a heat sink.
