I just got my new pc from cyberpower about 2 weeks ago and I called them about it but I didn't have the time to discuss it, but my front panel headphone jack is not working correctly, it's not the headphones I tested them on my laptop and my phone, I updated the driver and reinstalled realtek hd audio manager, the back headphone jack works just fine, so I've ruled everything down to it being faulty, I've checked all the settings and they're fine, but if I pull the headphone jack out a little the sound will come out the right earphone left and right, but if i put it back in all the way the left and right audio will come out the left headphone, so I'm extremely confused, should I ask cyberpower to send me an extension for the back headphone jack? I really do not feel like sending it in, but any other ideas/help?

Yeah its certainly a damaged panel then. On the plus side after looking up the case and its configuration you are able to swap the whole panel out as one (usbs, mic and headphone) so i would certainly contact them about them sending you out a new one and just swapping it yourself. It isnt very hard and much better than sending the whole PC back.

Yeah it would seem that your headphone jack was damaged during testing or something like that. What case is it in? If it comes out of the case independently then i would just request they send you a new one and you do the swap yourself. See what they say.

The case is a Thermaltake Urban S21 w/ USB 3.0, but when I first got it I plugged in my wireless mouse, but the USB was stuck in the front port, and I barely got it out, but the innards of the USB thing to the mouse was stuff, so I had to pull it out with pliers, so I'm wondering if that has anything to do with it, I'm not sure if the front io panel will comeout or not on it's own

Silverstone case brand new, I have the same problem none of my old headphone jacks will fit, my I Pod Jack won't, but a friend had a set of earbuds he bought at a news agent store and they worked had a look at the jack and the one that worked was longer by about 3mm and a little thinner. He then bought a bunch of headphone sets he had gathered most didn't work but the ones that did all had the 3mm longer plugs.
All of these jacks would work on my older PC.
There is some sort of incompatible jack problem with some cases, they aren't broken they just don't fit.
