I don't know what to choose because I want a good processor while i am waiting for the Haswell-E line up. I am going to get one of the Haswell-E processors when they come out but I need a filler processor that is good for gaming while i am waiting

I also need ideas on a good sound card and a head set under $100.

If this is just for gaming save some money and get the 4670k.

Well, if it's a filler get the cheaper one, i.e. the 4670k. It has pretty much the same performance in gaming anyway.

In gaming the difference is negligible - from 0 to 8% .But i5 4670 outperfrms FX 8350 by up to 43% . For gaming , i5 4670 is enough .

With $100 for sound card + headset, I'd skip the sound card, use onboard audio, and spend all the money on the headset.
That way you can afford a really good one (Logitech G930)

My current build has a 4770k but my previous one had a 4670 and it was plenty. Like everyone else already said it depends on what you're doing with it. Also if you don't plan on overclocking (which is not necessary on the 4770k at the moment) grab the non-k version.

Do you multitask? No? I5. Yes? I7 or FX-83.

Since you have alrady had FX 8350 , no urgent need to upgrade the processor/motherboard !
