hi. i recently bought motherboard asus m5a97 r2.0
cpu fx 6300
ram gskill 4 gb
corsair 850 watt psu
my gpu aasus hd 5450 it is very low end graphic card this card has not 6 pin connector
problem is that motherboard is wont boot up?
I've tried the following:
1.) placing the memory to every slot.
2.) flashed the BIOS to the newest one via BIOS flashback button.
3.) placed the graphics card to the other PCIe slot
4.) CMOS clear
5.) pressed MemOK after every slot combination of the memory
6.) removed CPU and MOBO power for 10 mins
7.) checked the CPU for bent pins but nothing's bent.
8.) Tried using both DVI and HDMI output.
my question is motherboard beep if processor is dead
is my motherboard is dead or my cpu is dead?
all cables r connected properly?
i have also tried another ram but wont work
