So I'm doing a fresh install of windows 7 home premium. I own both 32 and 64 bit versions. IV been running 64 bit but it just seems to hang a lot. No real issues but I'm wondering if 32 bit would be better on my PC. My PC has:

Intel Duel core 2.2ghz
4gb ddr3
Intel Gma Hd 4500m up to 1600ish shared memery or something like that.

Is there really any gain with 64 bit on such low specs. I don't run any 64 bit programs either. Also. with the shared video memory do I acually loss 1600 ish actual ram? And IV heard that if u have 4gm ram then u need 64bit. But 64bit uses longer address so then 32 bit would be the same right?... Just confusing me.

Solution
I had 64 bit with windows xp pro and I saw a great improvement with my core duo which was only rated at 1.8 ghz.. When you have 32 bit it is only going to see 4 gig of ram so if you got more then 4 gig its wasted sounds like the hang a lot issues is something not related to the os = windows have you tried to install 32 bit just to see if there is a difference?...
