Xonar Essence STX having issues during windows boot

Recently I purchased a xonar essence stx and a Sennheiser PC 360 I love it! Amazing sound compared to my Corsair Vengeance 1500 USB. Though there seems to be a specific issue that stands out. When I boot up the PC for some reason it tends to hang on the windows logo (Windows 8.1) for like a minute, which is a long time considering I have a Samsung Evo SSD; then after the minute the card makes it's "tick tick" from the relays and all of a sudden I can log on. Very odd....does anyone know why this happens?

Well I uninstalled asus beta drivers and installed the Uni drivers and it's still hanging up on my boot time. I know for certain it has to do with the sound card though because when the relays go off all of a sudden I can login....very odd.

I'm going to swap which molex connector it's on considering I don't have an individual rail for it right now and see if that does anything.

Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

I believe that I found the fix. I tried to hook up the soundcard on the rail by itself and it booted fine. Then I hooked up all the fans I have on that rail but made sure that the rail was connected to the card first then through extensions to the other fans and it seems to still be working better. LESSON LEARNED: You likely want to plug in the Xonar Essence STX to its own rail and if not make sure it is the first device receiving power on the rail.

Well update: went to boot on tonight and the same issue....I believe that the best bet is to run the sound card off its own rail...otherwise I guess I have to ask if anyone else has suggestions?
