Hello everybody!
I have a computer on which i have installed windows vista. I want to install windows 8 on a different partition of the same (single) HDD, but want to make it completely hidden.
What I mean by that is it not showing up in the bootloader and not being able to see the partition from Vista, but still somehow be able to boot into it.
Is that possible? I have been searching all over the internet, and the only way I found was booting from different HDDs, which i do not have.
If anyone could give a tutorial on how to do this, I would be grateful.
Thanks anyways!
P.S.: English is not my native language so please don't get mad if I have any spelling mistakes.

If you had 2 hard drive you could possible hide the one os from the other upon boot in the bios did that years ago with different versions of windows just shut one drive off but... I have dual boot win 7 and 8.1 and I cant hide it on my system it boots asks me what os to run.

I was just wondering if it was possible with my configuration.
Thanks for your answer! I was thinking of just puting the selection timer to 1, but that wouldn't really be hidden.
I guess in the worst case scenario i will install easyBCD, and every time I want to boot into 8 i change the configuration from vista and when I am done i can change it again so that it is no longer an option. But the amount of work that takes just to boot into 8 is just horrible.
