Hello all my fellow computer entheusiasts! I'm building my 2nd computer, it's going to be an absolute beast. Rendering, streaming, and gaming. I was looking for a 1440p monitor for under $650-700 that has 5ms or less delay time.
The specs for my pc:

Core i7-4930k (4.3 Ghz OC)
Corsair H100i Liquid Cooler
16GB DDR3 1866Mhz Corsair Vengeance Ram
GTX 780 ti 3GB (2 way SLI)
Asus Sabertooth X79

I've seen those, but I was looking for something 120hz or higher?
  2. Theres no 1440p with 120hz.

Unless you go for the korean 1440p 60 hz that you can overclock to 80-120hz

With 1440p resolution i cant find any 120hz. There is a review of one ASUS monitor with G-Sync(1440p 120Hz) but it will be available after march 2014

  4. What Korean monitor would you reccomend then? It'd be nice to have a large 27" one, for more immersive gaming.
  5. It sounds like the best monitor for what you are wanting right now is a QNIX QX2710 Evolution II http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00BUI44US which is a 1440p Samsung IPS panel monitor that you can overclock to 120Hz.
  6. I've seen an asus 2k monitor for 300$ at sainsbury's. The model was named something with q2077 but the rest I couldn't remember. Also there was an 4k monitor for only 500$.

The Tempest is 1440p 120hz (technically its 96hz minimum up to 120hz) and currently available. Tom's put out a review for it a week or two ago, was mainly positive.
  8. ASUS PG278Q ROG Swift 27in 144Hz G-Sync Gaming Monitor

This one has everything you need.. I wish there was a cheaper option but ASUS ROG Swift is the best you can buy.
  9. If You need color accuracy you shouldn't go for a TN panel... And the swift is TN. If you don't really care about color accuracy, then its probably the best option for you
  10. Its a bit out of your price range, but this monitor seems like your best bet.

2k, 144hz refresh, g-sync, and pc gamer reccomends it.
