ok so this is kind of a dumb question and i have been having trouble finding out the answer to directX support and Battlefield 4.....I want to run the game on this PC (specs below) and the GPU only supports directx 10....i cant tell if there is some way to check what battlefield uses but i thought it was directx 10.1. I have also heard rumors about changing the settings in battlefield to support directx 10 or lower ( I have seen it done with BF3)...can someone tell me how i can do this if possible and if i will be able to run on either the lowest settings or edited settings to make it even lower than low..

Here is a video on what i want it to look like if not worse is ok.....no judging

Thanks!

specs on crappy pc:
(This is not my main gaming pc, i just want to know if i can use it to play and if anyone knows how to make these components work with Battlefield 4)

Dell Latitude E5500
Core 2 Duo P8700 2.53 GHz
GMA45 Intel 4 express chip series (DirectX 10 installed)
2 gigs of ram (lol)
800x600-1280x800 Display options in this range

Once again i know it will look like crap i just want it to run....I have an Ultra gaming pc and i am NOT looking for upgrading

well, if you have a Win Vista it could run but since any game now needs at least 4gb of RAM, your pc won't be able to run BF4. You could try, but it won't last long. BF4 does have support for Directx 10 for GPU's that use it.

But i heard that you are able to make some games run on lower versions of directx....and why if i had vista? is it different somehow than 7?

Actually it is, by default Windows Vista comes with DIrectx 10, it can actually be used in games that support it like Crysis 1, even if you had a directx 9 gpu, but it wouldn't have all features of directx 10. Windows 7 comes with Directx 11.

Basically, your OS if WIn 7 has DX11, but your gpu not, which basically means that you actually "do not" have DX 11.
