My Raid Controller card has failed. The system does not recognized it. The raid drives are good and were setup as Raid 1. Any idea how to get my drives back? I tried to set them up as a raid pair on another computer, but stopped when the system said all data on the drives would be erased. Is my only option to find an identical raid controller card?

the easiest solution is to find a identical raid card (if still available)
Is this PATA, SATA or SCSI etc
Is this a PC or Server ?
Is this the boot drive ?
since RAID 1 is a mirror you may be able put one drive into a non raid controller and read files
