The classified 780 is overclocked out the door.

Why do you need to overclock it further?

Is it not playing the games you need it to play?

Just the fact you're seeing an overclock performance drop should tell you something right there!

A Firestrike score is not worth damaging such an expensive card, just for a few FPS better score, I urge you to reconsider as you may be one that ends up ruining their card.

If you are getting lower scores then that usually means the gpu is throttling itself or you have passed the threshold for the best performance. If you flash your ln2 bios with kne that does not have a locked voltage then you will be able to up your voltage and squeeze out some extra performance. Just ALWAYS be sure to watch the temps. Might even consider waterblock for it. Keep an eye on mobo temps too. If you are stressing it to much those temps could raise andncause issues.

i'm running at +100 on the memory +400 on the core. temps have never exceeded 61c and the voltgae is maxed at +63mv with power target at 115%.

the thing is is that it passes firestrike but scores 7900, i just got it switched back to the standard bios and downclocked to 100/200 and it did 7400 on firestrike and it did an average of 40.7 fps on unigine. i'm going to toy with that bios and see what i can get, just want a stable overclock, i was mainly just confused why my numbers were so low when my temps are great and nothing seems amiss. also, i got 9800 on my first firestrike run when the card was barely overclocked.

Overclocking has its limits. Once your performance drops that means you have hit the ceiling.
