I have read posts regarding this topic but i can't seem to grasp the idea.
I have a Haswell build and i don't plan to overclock and i think i cannot because i have a non K CPU. Here is my build

Motherboard : Gigabyte GA-Z87-D3HP
CPU : Intel i5 4440
PSU : Corsair VS650

My question is I bought a RAM, Kingston HyperX 4GB DDR3 1600 CL9 240 1.65V.
Is it safe to plug this one in my system? Will i fry my CPU? I have read about overclocking the CPU for it to be compatible with a 1.65V RAM. But i just want to run all my parts at stock. Or am i just getting all of these wrong?

Intel recommends standard JEDEC spec sticks at 1600 and less running 1.5 - problems you may encounter are heat at 1.65 plus they have weak ICs, 1.65 is too much voltage for entry level 1600 sticks....they'll work, but if you can be better off with a better set of 1.5, at 1.65 there's no room for adjustments voltage wise
