It will have a PCI-E 2.0 slot. And your on board graphics are just as powerful as that 610. Although you would get a little performance boost from having a dedicated graphics card. Even if it is just as powerful as the integrated graphics.

I guess someone told you a dedicated GPU is always better than an integrated GPU. While that is true, the 610 is an exceptionally slow GPU and will give you barely a performance boost.

The problem with buying pre-builts is that they skimp out on almost every part in there. The PSU is ridiculously weak, the Case is too small for upgrades and the GPUs are either integrated or very bad dedicated ones.

You should check how much space your case has for a new GPU and how much power your PSU has. If you are lucky and the case and PSU actually don't suck you could upgrade with a much better GPU that will give you several times the performance and still stay under 100 pounds.

tyvm for ur help guys u have been more than helpful. i do sorta knw what im doing and im pretty sure there is enough room for a gfx card as for the psu i will have to have a look i was wondering if anyone had any awsome sites that are very reliable and sell gfx cards good enough to play cames like arma dayz etc it plays dayz on average gfx quite well with a little lag frm time to time im not really a hardcore gamer but i do spend some time on my pc gaming. my pc's actual specifications are as they say except i actually have 8gb ram instead of 6gb as it says so i would appreciate any ideas on a low budget upgrade.

That GT 610 will actually be a downgrade from your integrated graphics, take a look at the tom's hierarchy chart, the GT 610 is identical to the GT 520, the A6 has the 6530D which is on the same tier as the Intel HD 4000 graphics, the GT 520 is one tier below that....

There really isn't a point to getting a graphics card for gaming that is below about a GT 640, it just won't give you enough performance for things to be playable. And when you do get one, if you are getting a low end card get 1GB of VRAM at most, a GT 610 will never be able to make use of more than about 512MB so when they sell you the 2GB version they just make a ton of money off of silly decisions.

Maybe you can get a used HD 5770 for that price if you keep your eyes open. It would be a lot faster than what you currently have. I think it can just barely max Bioshock Infinite @ 720p. I have no idea if it will fit or if the PSU is powerful enough though. I fear neither will work out. I'm really not that familiar with the ultra low budget market.

why did you not get the 6670? Save 15 pounds to get a card the scores three times as low on www.videocardbenchmark.net? Everybody here told you not to get the 610 and yet you get it anyway? It's a ~0% performance boost for 35 pounds vs a ~300% performance boost for 50 pounds!
