I have Acer Aspire 5745G with i5 processor and 4GB DDR 3 memory. I have NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M graphic card. I installed the NVIDIA software but still the graphic card is not working. It is not being shown in the configuration. Also when I use CUP Z it shows only intel graphic not the NVIDIA.

That laptop has optimus technology. It automatically switches between your integrated and dedicated gpu depending on the workload/applications. If you go into the nvidia control panel you can play around with settings, i.e., choose which programs utilize which processor, switch from dedicated to integrated, etc

Not sure about cpuz but I know gpuz allows you to monitor both cards

I have installed the software of NVIDIA but no icon is shown in control panel, and when I turn on the laptop an error message is shown that "display driver stopped working but have recovered" and still it's on intel graphic manager.

see that's the problem, no settings are available cause there is no file of GPU created. only a logo on taskbar that shows an error message, i tried to install new version software but it shows compatibility problem. So still using the software that the Acer provided.
(I use windows 7,but I tried to install windows 8 three times and the GPU drivers crashed all the time, after third time i went for windows 7 but the GPU system was unable to reset)

I have loaded the previous version drivers still no effect. Could the hardware be affected while I was trying to install incompatible drivers in windows 8.
