I have an unanswered problem. I don't know if I am asking the right question so, I decided to repost again.

I have a TOSHIBA SATELLITE U940. I messed up my partition drive. I copied the RECOVERY IMAGE and format the PARTITION DRIVE (where the reovery image is located) then copied back the RECOVERY IMAGE (partition drive). Now, after I press F12 to boot menu. The "HDD Recovery" option is gone/missing (i don't know). How do I repair back the boot option for my RECOVERY IMAGE?

I don't think you will be able to get it exactly the way it was before when you originally got the laptop. If you have your Windows disk you could reinstall windows then when prompted have it create a recovery partition. It will not be the same as it was when you first got your laptop but that is one way of going about it. Once windows has been loaded and you look at disk management you will see a recovery partition listed with Disk 0.
