The AMP is higher clock speed and only supports DX 11.1 and not 11.2 and the OC with is newer support 11.2 but has a lower clock speed.

The AMP! version was the predecessor and has the same cooling with a custom PCB. It's the highest clocked GTX 780 you can get out of the box. The problem is that the cooling on the PCB isn't up to par and I've heard of problems with component failures when overclocking past the stock speeds.

The newer Zotac ZT-70205-10P GTX780 OC http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00GUA97QW is a better card since it has the same features as the AMP! version but newer driver support and with a more stable factory OC. You can always OC it to match the AMP! if you want to reach the higher clocks.

So we should get the OC version instead of the AMP! version? i don't get it, as the model number you showed is the same as the AMP! that is listed at the Zotac Website...

The Amp edition is ZT-70203-10P. The OC edition is ZT-70205-10P. I have had a pair of the OC's for awhile now, great.

Wait, they both are getting driver updates still, it's just that the newer card has dx 11.2 right? that's the only difference I see from the research I've done. This is the comparison from their website, they have 3 skews.. 1 AMP and 2 OC versions

Please link any reviews where differences are noted..I would appreciate it greatly.

One of them is a SKU with the promotional game bundle. There is only two distinct OC cards made by them in the 780 series, excluding the Ti's.

I emailed them today, this is the response I got:

Dear Sir,

The ZT-70203-10P has higher clock speed.
The ZT-70206-10P and ZT-70205-10P are identical, but the ZT-70205-10P included game coupon.

All three cards are using the same heatsink and same driver.

Yeah but everyone I talk to says the OC version, specifically the ZT-70205-10P sku is the best..even though it is the card with a lower base clock, the same cooler as the AMP, and the same game bundle.

On a personal note, I already have the Splinter Cell compilation, so I'll be selling it.

Generally they are around the same price.
I got the AMP! because it's factory OC'ed higher than any other card, and I already have the Splinter Cell bundle..so I can sell it.

Makes no sense. They both support the same DX features. One of the product pages is simplly outdated compared to the other one.
