I'm trying to edit this file:
C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts
I have opened it with notepad, edited, and tried to save and got this message:
Cannot create the C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts file. Make sure that the path and file name are correct.
Tried to use "Save as" and see that it is attempting to save as a .txt document with encoding ANSI. I have full administrator privileges. Perhaps I should turn off UAC and try again?

Start Notepad "as administrator" and it will save the hosts file.
