So I'm almost done by build... Everything seems to be up and running, except the fact that I'm getting no video. Both the CPU, GPU, and PSU fans are running, the power indicator on my case is on, the hard drives are running, the optical drive is working, it's just that I'm getting nothing on my monitor. My monitor keeps telling me to check video cable. I'm using my GPU's included DVI to VGA since I only have VGA in my house. I need help :(

Solution
Right if you are using a Dvi to vga cable.

And the card has two Dvi ports.
One port will be for use with an Analog Dvi to Vga cable.
An analog dvi to vga cable will have one flat pin and four small pins.
And must be used with the right Dvi port of the card.

If using a dvi to vga-vga the same rule applies. the adapter based on the pins must be used in the right DVI port.

If the motherboard has on board video.
You must first connect the monitor to the output of the board.

You then need to go into the bios of the board.

Turn off the on board graphics if you can.

Or set in the list of video devices Pci-e to first in the list to be initialized as the primary display output device.

Save the setting before exiting the bios. and you...

I tried to connect the cable to the intergrated, but I don't have any display. According to my system speaker I get one short beep, meaning successful bootup.
