So as you see by the title of this topic i messed up pretty bad in my eyes.
I am a complete noob at hardware stuff inside the computer so today i decided to look up how to add more ram so maybe i can learn a little more about my own laptop. So i followed the video, i opened the ram slot and i saw the two little prongs, and clicked both of the and the Ram stick popped up, i took out the ram and i layed it beside me. I was then really happy and completely nervous and i forgot how to put it in, so i just did it my own way. I remembered from the video the guy told me to put the ram in a 45% angle and match the notch with the little thing that sticked out, i did that and then i also remembered that he said to push it down with a little force until you hear a click, will, i heard the click but when i put everything back together and turned on my laptop my ram went down from 6gb to 4gb. I don't know what to do guys. My laptop is a Hp envy m6 1105dx with windows 8. I am really nervous about the whole situation.
