2 months ago i bought a sabertooth x79 mobo to go with a 4820k I7, I've since then been unable to get the system to post, encountering many problems;
-Red led cpu; needed to update the bios through UBS flash, renaming the bios file to SABERX79.CAP instead of SABERX79.ROM which asus's website cited to use.
-Red DRAM led; tried 3 different pairs of memory sticks in the suggested positions and all possible combinations. Tried plugging a single stick in all possible slots, doing the same while using OK memory button.
Im still not getting a post.. i dont know what to do except returning it, suggestions?
PSU 750w
CPU 4820k
GPU GTX 770
ram tested:
-Corsair xms3 TW3X4G1333C9A 4gb (2x2gb)
-G.skill ripjawX F314900CL9S-4GBXL (2X4gb)
-Kingston hyperX KHX18C9T2K2/8X (2X4gb)
*all sticks tested on another system, all working.

was very happy for ~1 hour until i realised i had a new problem
