I just bought a monitor and hooked to my PC has everything but the processor monitor says no VGA input signal and reccomends a res9lution will it work when I put my CPU onboard?

No vga input signal means it is not receiving a signal from the computer. In order to send a signal to the monitor you need a working computer, and that includes having a cpu. Finish your build, install a cpu, turn power on and you'll be good to go.

Did you connect it to the motherboard or to the graphics card? If you put on mobo, change to graphics card and it should work.

Just saw you have no cpu on your computer. It won't even turn on without all the parts of the rig.
