first time build, compatibility check + suggestions please

Hello, first time posting here so hopefully I can give all the information needed.

I'm an artist and casual gamer and have been needing to upgrade for some time. These are 2 rigs I made on pcpartpicker

My max budget being that rough $1600
I plan on using Win7 ultimate (which i already have)

I've been reading up a lot here and there about some parts not being able to play nice with each other and while pcpartpicker does have a compatibility check I would feel more confident in my choices if someone here told me for sure that the parts are fine

like wise since this is my first build if anyone knows of any better alternatives to parts or any suggestions for this rig I would appreciate it :) 
I can maybe go $100 or $200 more but its not preferred

Go for faster ram. At least 1866. Stay away from CX series power supplies. The Hx 750 you have listed is a good one. I personally prefer Asus MOBOs. Get the Samsung 840 evo or pro SSD its better and cheaper

also graphics wise I've decided I'm just going to stick with the 660 for now, I'm not that heavily into gaming to warrant buying a 770 right now although I think I'll keep the 750w power supply for future upgrades and maybe even SLI.
I don't personally trust ASUS, sorry not to be stingy or anything but i've had way too many issues with them already to really trust any of their parts being in my first build. I know all companies have their tech & support issues but ASUS has just proven to be ridiculous consistently.

Also I noticed on pcpartpicker with both our builds the G.Skill ram has some kind of wattage issue with the processor:
"G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-2400 Memory operating voltage of 1.65V exceeds the Intel Ivy Bridge CPU recommended maximum of 1.5V+5% (1.575V). This memory module may run at a reduced clock rate to meet the 1.5V voltage recommendation, or may require running at a voltage greater than the Intel recommended maximum."
Is that anything to worry about?
I don't plan on overclocking if this helps

I think that is a decent compromise. You could go for this Wifi card instead. It is internal but it carries a higher data rate.

1.5 volts is the default memory voltage on most boards. That said I have never seen any issue raising voltage to 1.65 on memory that was specified for that voltage. Using any memory higher than 1600mhz with your setup will require some form of overclocking the ram (not the processor.) Most boards made now have XMP memory profiles, which means you can just select that profile in bios with the click of a button and it will automatically set voltages, multipliers and latencies to take advantage of ram over 1600mhz. Again I have never had any issues with doing this other than one board I had would not make changes to anything when I selected Automatic XMP profile, so I had to manually set specs according to ram.
