Well, just today i got an "Evga gtx 650Ti"to remplace the old gtx 650 (Yeah i know, the diference isn´t very much), i espected some 40% better perfomance like the evga box said, but NO! instead, the "gtx 650 Ti" is running way worse than the "gtx 650" and i don´t know why! i though it was the "Evga precicion X" but nope, the framerate still Ultra bad.

For example: L4D2
With the "GTX 650" the game was running flawless with everything at max but the antialiasing, which was at "8xMSAA"

But with the Ti Version, the game runs horrible, i can barely get 40 FPS!!

Same with Modern Warfare 2, Skyrim, even half life 2!

Even the Windows Experience says the
gtx 650 Ti is worse, in "graphics and "Game graphics" the "gtx 650" showed a 7.4, but the "gtx 650 Ti" show a 6.9!

I need some help please, because i don´t know why is this happening...

Here are the system specs:

Intel I7-3770k 3.50 ghz.
Evga GTX 650 Ti 2GB.
Dell 2005FPW LCD Monitor
wdc wd10earx-32n0yb0 Internal Hard driver 1TB
and a PSU of 650W, sorry i don't know the model...

I have the latest geforce drivers.

Is a EVGA Geforce GTX 650 ti
this one:

https://www.evga.com/articles/00703/

in the back of the box it says its 40% faster than the gtx 650, obviously it´s an aproximate deduction, and yeah, i know that WEI is useless (especially with the HDD disk) but i find it weird that the GTX 650 Ti runs way worse than the normal GTX 650.

To Woltej1:

Thanks for the answer im gonna try that, and i have the latest Motherboard Bios For the "Gigabyte GA-z77x-D3h"

Thanks Woltej1! it works!

Man, it was the "Windows Update auto installer" the reason.. so i disable it and then i reinstall the gtx 650 ti and its drivers from the cd that come in the box and voila! everything is fine! l4d2 runs even better than with the old gtx 650!! and now WEI doesn´t show a 6.9 in graphics and video graphics, instead it show a 7.5. (now maybe i need a better monitor, you know, the dell 2005fpw is pretty old!)
