I'm planning on getting a new graphics card. That means that I'm going to need a new PSU to replace the current 300 watt I have now. However, I do not know about what components I have to take into consideration regarding the compatibility of my PC. My PC specs are:
Motherboard: MSi 760GMA-P34
CPU:AMD FX 6300 (3.5 GHz)
GPU:AMD RAdeon 7700 series 2GB
Hardrive:1TB SATA II 7200RPM
RAM:8GB DDR3 1600

Can anyone give me a suggeston as to which video card and PSU will work best for this? I am willing to spend $300~.

P.S. I am completely fine with playing at 30-40fps on high. I have a 1600x900 monitor.

Any good brand PSU over 500 watts will work well. Good brands are Corsair, Seasonic, XFX, Antec.

The one component that needs to be compatible with the power supply is the video card. A good quality 500w power supply will power a video card that is compatible with your computer.
