Hi im looking to buy h100i for my computer, here are the specs
z87-plus
i5 4670k
r9 270x
750w corsair psu
corsair 300r case

The radiator+the fans will not fit inside the case, so im planning on placing the radiator on the top of the case, and the fans inside, will this decrease the performance of h100i?

Will there be adequate forced air flow through the radiators? If the radiators and its fans are both outside the case it will work very well. Make sure that the air intakes for the fans are not throttled.

Having the fans inside will not decrease the performance of the radiator. I have a dual radiator at the top of the case with two fans inside and two outside and it does not affect the CPU temp.

You can fit your radiator inside a 300r with a bit of effort. I was able to, it just took a bit of work.

id say it would preform way better just keep in mind radiators are fragile an its more prone to damage (leakage!!) out side the case!
