So this all started with Star Trek Online not staying in Fullscreen, now Battlefield 3 refuses to enter fullscreen.

Seen here is what it is calling fullscreen, i have done all i know even "Alt+Enter" and no such luck.

I have turned on EyeFinity and then turned it off, i tried resetting the resolution, nothing i do fixes it, please help, this is getting extremely old.

Thanks in advance for reading and assisting.

almost forgot,
System:
AMD FX 8320
ASUS Crosshair V Formula-Z
16GB DDR3-2133
two HIS Radeon HD 7850 IceQ X Turbo CrossfireX enabled

this setup used to play in fullscreen, that was before i setup an Eyefinity setup to play Dirt3 splitscreen on two different displays.

Open task manager and check to see if there are any programs that could be preventing this.

THANKS, i will not tolerate those who imagine their own fantasy of my posts, you either read the whole post, or gtfo. I'm not here to play "House of (mis)Representatives" i am here to solve problems.

So any leads as to why my computer decides to change which monitor is primary #1 and which is secondary #2, because when i connect my HDTV via HDMI (WHILE my main DVI monitor is connect as #1) it is registered as #2 but after a reboot, the HDTV is designated #1 and my primary display as #2 which then interferes with my fullscreen settings.

"i will not tolerate..." I misread one sentence of your post, get over yourself.

Good luck with your issue. While I have a good idea what the problem is, I'll let you figure it out on your own.

Found the issue, after rebooting while connected to an HDTV the OS decided to change the primary Display (Monitor #1) to the HDTV and off the Monitor. Unsure why this happened, and i searched all over to make it primary again, but it would appear that Windows 7 favors HDMI over DVI.
