I have purchase and APU from AMD A10-5800k AD580KWOHJBOX. I want to find out which bios version this APU supports. I have gone to AMD's web site and I don't see where they say anything about the bios. Any help would be appreciated.

Solution
The bios is a set of settings for a motherboard or GPU settings. The APU does not have Bios they will be found on the motherboard. B.I.O.S. = Basic Input Output Settings.

There is a driver that controls the GPU in the APU.

you can download CPU-Z that will give this info and a lot more. It's a free program.\

First of all, it's the motherboard that dictates whether or not the APU will run. You will not find anything on the AMD site about BIOS versions. You will have to go to your motherboard manufactures site to see compatibility and see if they have any BIOS updates that will support the APU. To find the BIOS version, download and run CPU-Z (free program) and go into the Mainboard tab.
