  1. AMD FX 8350 and a Gigabyte 78lmt-USB 3 Mobo. You won't be needing to upgrade this for a loooong time. You may require to update the bios version just in case.
  2. That looks pretty good. i'm gonna see if anyone else has suggestions but thanks
  3. I think you should get the 8320 as you can overclock it to 8350 speeds and save money.

CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler (£25.66 @ CCL Computers)
    Motherboard: ASRock 990FX Extreme3 ATX AM3+/AM3 Motherboard (£74.37 @ Amazon UK)

  4. For that kind of price, you're probably better off going for AMD, but you might be able to find a motherboard/cpu combo with an i5... If you can get an i5 4570 and a motherboard, it'll be a better deal, I think. It's not overclockable, but single CPU performance is better and it's also cheaper to run (lower TDP).

Either way, the FX 8350 is also a good CPU.
  5. Ok guys thanks for the help just one quick question, with that cpu and a GTX 660 OC edition, what kind of power supply am i going to need ? i have a 500 modular one at the momeny but i'm guessing im going to need more ?

  7. Awesome help guys ! i have the AMD Athlon 651k at the moment compared to the fx-8320 what kind of improvement am i looking at ? and will it get rid of this stupid bottleneck !
  8. Yes it will.Big improvement.
  9. Which MOBO do i go for out of the two that have been suggested ?
  10. Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3P < 8+2 Power Phase Design.
  11. Blackbird has the better board for overclocking. Particularly if you want to really press a CPU.
  12. Awesome, i'll go with Blackbirds CPU/Mobo suggestion ! i've read that with some Mobo's to utilize the 8cores of the cpu i'm going to need to update the BIOS ?
