Finished first build isn't working

Help!!! I finished my first build and got a monitor. It is a refurbished samsung sync master and I know it works. I will include a link to some pictures. I tried to reset the CMOS battery and that didn't help. All that the monitor says is check signal cable.

When you hit the power button what happens with the hardware? Do all fans spin up, can you hear the harddrive work? do you even get a bios screen?

All systems are go but nothing shows up on the monitor

I would recheck all your cables and Front panel connectors.

Fans? Lights? Codes?

No just a check signal cable error. Nothing from the computer shows up

Fans power up lights go on and my g card starts to generate heat

Have you tried a different cable or a different style plug like dvi.

Yes I have used vgi and hdmi to vga

Do you got a friend who would let you throw their card in your computer to see if that will solve anything? Maybe you got a bad card.
