Compatibility: Gigabyte GA-H87-D3H mobo and G.Skill Ripjaws X

In looking a compatibility lists from both Gigabyte and G.Skill (on their web-sites), neither lists specific compatibility for
G.Skill Ripjaws X (either the F3-12800CL8D-8GBXM or the F3-12800CL9D-8GBXL) and the Gigabyte GA-H87-D3H mobo.

Am I safe assuming that this memory is good for this mobo? That they simply can't keep all these compatibility lists updated? The Gigabyte compatibility list in particular seems out of date.

Full build list below.

Thanks for the help,
Neal

It may work, but if the memory maker (G.Skill) doesn't show it as being compatible with that motherboard (but does show other types of its memory as being compatible), then it very well may not work. I would suggest getting something that does appear on one or the others compatibility list.

OK - just found a better memory configurator/list on G.SKILL site. Are you suggesting that if G.SKILL lists the F3-12800CL8D-8GBXM (which it does, for example) as compatible with the GA-H87-D3H, then I should probably be OK even if the Gigabyte list doesn't? (The Gigabyte list is dated June, 2013 - http://download.gigabyte.us/FileList/Memory/mb_memory_g...)
Thanks.

Yes, if G.Skill says that memory is compatible, it should work. And you are correct about most motherboard manufacturer's QVL for compatible memory as being far from complete or up to date.
